Despite the recent wet and windy weather, both Boys' and Girls' LAX are all smiles. Both have had a great, if soggy, week: 🥍 a 2-0 start to the season for both teams! 🥍 a history-making outing from Freshman Bridget Guerrier, who scored 8 goals in a single game. She is currently tied for the record with current Sophomore Madison Carland! 🥍 a jaw-dropping performance from Sophomore Gavin Csaszar, who broke current head coach Louis Parks's record by scoring 9 goals in a single game. Congrats to these Falcons, and keep up the great work!

Do you recognize this retired Oakcrest teacher? It's beloved former French teacher Pam Scheaffer, who left the Nest in 2021! Pam, a long-time resident of Mays Landing, now spends her days babysitting her adorable grandson, Gavin, and travelling to visit family and friends across the United States. Madame Scheaffer also carves out time for international travel (she'll be cruising the rivers of Holland in October) and pickleball. Pam is greatly missed (and envied)!

Do you recognize this Oakcrest Class of 1993 graduate? It's OHS science teacher, student coordinator, and association vice president Joseph Seaman! Joe attended Clemson University, where he was a member of the Air Force ROTC and earned a degree in physics. Since starting at Oakcrest in 2003, Mr. Seaman skippered girls' track & field for 7 years and boys' soccer for 15, retiring with a winning record and even being named the Coach of the Year by the Press of Atlantic City in 2019. Mr. Seaman, his wife, Amy, and two sons, William and Charles, live in EHT and enjoy sports, theater, Star Wars, and Marvel. Falcon Nation is lucky to have such a dedicated alum on staff!

Today's Falcon Sibling Spotlight is on the O'Flynns! Eddie, a 2021 OHS grad, was an active member of the Nest's instrumental music program and a graduate of its Biomedical Magnet. He is currently a Junior at Stockton University earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Julianna, who will graduate in June, is committed to Stockton, where she will major in Education. Julianna has loved the many ways she's gotten involved at Oak: she's an integral part of the Dance Team, the Thespian Society, StuCo, and the Freshman Transition Program. She's also a soon-to-be Biomedical Magnet grad and a 3-year Varsity Baseball manager. Shout-out to the O'Flynns for exemplifying Oakcrest's famous Falcon Pride!
