How to Store Files


Storing Files

Now you can store up to 10MB of files with your WebMail account. This feature gives faculty and staff members the ability to work on files from any computer that has a connection to the Internet.

1. To access this feature from your e-mail account click on the words My Files on the left.

2. You will notice the options for View My Stored Files, Store a File, Create a Private File Folder, Delete File Folders, and View File Trash Can.

3. Click on the Store a File option.

4. The above window will open. Click on the Browse.. button to choose a file to store. The Choose files window will open.

5. Find the file you wish to attach. You can either double-click on the file or click the file once so its name appears in the File name: field and then click the Open button.

6. Once you see the file in the Browse. window, select the folder you wish to store the file. You will have more options when you create more Private Folders.

7. Click the Upload File button when you are finished.


Create New Folders

1. Click on the Create a Private Folder option. This is where you may create new folders for storing files to access anywhere you can connect to the Internet.

2. Type in the name of the new folder you wish to create in the text field to the left of New Folder Name:

3. Click the Create Folder button and you will see your new folder in your list. You may Delete or Edit folders at any time.

4. Your created folders will appear in the list when you go to save a file.
