Starting the School Year

The first thing you should do at the start of each school year is open your gradebook and enter your grading rules. Your grading rules are for your entire gradebook, not separate classes.

1. Click on Setup
2. Click on Grading Rules
3. Click on the Type Sets Tab and make any changes you want (do not delete the "Unused" type.)
4. Click on the Grade Table Tab to enter the Letter grade definitions.
5. Once you are done making your changes, click on Close.

**** Be sure to save frequently in case of a power failure or computer crash.****
