The Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District operates three comprehensive high schools housing students in grades 9-12. Oakcrest High School, in Mays Landing, is located on a 110 acre wooded tract. Absegami High School, in Galloway Township, is located on a 114 acre tract. Our newest school, Cedar Creek High School, is being constructed in Egg Harbor City. Opening in September 2010, Cedar Creek High School will be offering Magnet programs in Engineering and Environmental Science. All three schools are located about 12-20 miles from Atlantic City. A forty-minute drive to Rowan University and a sixty-minute drive to Philadelphia permits staff members to pursue major programs of graduate study. The two-year Atlantic Community College is adjacent to Oakcrest High School and the four-year Stockton State College is close to Absegami High School. The Atlantic County Vocational Technical School is located within the District and serves students from both high schools.

Both high schools offer a broad comprehensive program (9-12). Each school has its own administration and staff supported by a District Special Services Department.

This District is the largest (in area) school district in the state, serving students from Egg Harbor City, and Galloway, Mullica, and Hamilton Townships. Students residing in Green Bank and Port Republic also attend school in this District. Most students are transported by bus to school. students may not drive to school.

All report card, attendance, and routine teacher clerical duties are fully automated, reducing the load of clerical detail for the teacher.

The District is especially interested in teachers who will also assume responsibilities for interscholastic coaching and activity supervision on an extra-pay contract basis.

The District is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Interested applicants should apply to:
